Citrix announced Wednesday that has added free VoIP and audio conferencing to the newest versions of its GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar. In addition, the integrated features are fully supported on both Mac and PC.

According to the company, the new offerings enable "true one-click meetings," providing ease of use for both meeting organizers, and attendees. The enhancements are intended to provide greater flexibility to companies and individuals using the systems.

"Our goal at Citrix Online has always been to develop the simplest and easiest-to-use Web solutions, which is extremely important to our SMB customers," said Elizabeth Cholawsky, vice president, products and services for Citrix Online, in a prepared statement. "With these newest releases of GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar, every feature is based on extensive user feedback, from full Macintosh access to this new total audio solution. Used effectively, these technologies can change not only the operating style but also the business economics of companies everywhere."

GoToMeeting is designed for small groups, supporting up to 25 participants, while GoToWebinar supports larger events of up to 1,000 attendees. According to Citrix, both platforms will help SMBs reach out to stakeholders, prospects, and other persons of interest.
