Education Management Solutions (EMS) has announced a strategic partnership with Kb Port to collaborate to build technologies that capitalize on EMS' skills training and assessment software and Kb Port's  digital recording and multimedia expertise.

According to the announcement, the partnership will focus on several product areas, including EMS' mobilSIM platform. Designed to improve simulation training, the platform provides a variety of benefits, including integration with high-fidelity simulators; participant management capabilities; the ability to bookmark and annotate video; and provide skills assessment, among others.

"We're very excited to be working in close collaboration with Kb Port on the continued development of MobilSIMâ„¢," said Anurag Singh, president and CEO, Education Management Solutions, in a prepared statement. "This partnership shares a common goal of fostering innovation in technology for the benefit of hospitals, community colleges, one-to-two rooms, nursing programs, and facilities that have limited space or wish to conduct multi-disciplinary simulation training in the field."

According to EMS, the partnership will also provide Kb Port ETC recorder customers the ability to integrate with EMS' Total Skills Center and Total SIM applications, making it possible to manage an entire clinical skills and simulation center through features that include assessment, scheduling, inventory management, scoring, and reports, to name a few.
