MDI Wins Contract To Provide Texas District Close Circuit TV, Security Products

MDI announced last week that it has been selected by Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District (Cy-Fair ISD) to provide a variety of security products and services to the 70-campus district.

According to the announcement, the annual contract--approved until September, 2009--will allow district security personnel to make budgeted purchases from MDI of any size and quantity without the need for further district or school board approvals. MDI said its LearnSafe Direct inside sales and LearnSafe Initiative enterprise sales teams will work with Cy-Fair ISD throughout the year, helping the district make purchases that both fill their immediate needs, as well as build longevity for their overall systems.

Some of the solutions available to the district through MDI's LearnSafe certified product line include district-wide unified access control, IP video surveillance, CCTV, alarm management, emergency communications, bus safety and door security solutions, among others.
