Arkansas-based ArCom Systems has recently signed a contract with Cooper Notification to become a Mass Notification System (MNS) channel partner.
Under the agreement ArCom will be authorized to sell the entire line of Cooper MNS solutions, including the Wireless Audio Visual Emergency System (WAVES), SAFEPATH indoor voice evacuation system, and the Roam Secure Alert Network (RSAN) emergency text and voice alerting system. ArCom plans to use the partnership with Cooper to grow its market share in the commercial, hospital, and higher education sectors.
"With the recent unfortunate events that have occurred on multiple college campuses within the state and abroad, we are proud to be able to offer this critical emergency mass notification tool that can be used to direct students and employees to safety," said Christopher Stuart, President of ArCom Systems, Inc., in a prepared statement. "Our desire is to protect our sons, daughters and fellow Arkansans and ultimately save innumerable lives, preventing needless tragedy from striking. We believe that the Cooper Notification platform offers by far the most comprehensive, reliable and technologically advanced system available in the world today."
As their first joint initiative, Cooper and ArCom plan to launch a mass notification demo and educational tour in Arkansas next month. According to Cooper, the company will use its Mobile Command and Response Vehicle to demonstrate a range of MNS solutions.
