Fish Where the Fish Are

It was a quick connect to show them how my company's presence at their conferences would not only appeal to the attendees, but would also be a new source of revenue for the organization. For two years we were the only exhibitor at their annual conference. (Saturday morning and the only one on the lake; can't beat that!) Now the organization has an exhibitor's hall at their conferences; I'm pleased that I was able to open that door for them.

So what's the bottom line here? I found a market that benefited from my companies' solutions. I figured out how they were funded. I built a relationship with one of their support organizations and got myself invited to their annual conference. All I had to do after that was just drop my line. Happy fishing!
