PCI Education Appoints Lee Wilson President and CEO

PCI Education has recently announced the appointment of Lee Wilson as President and CEO. Wilson will oversee operations, product development, sales, marketing, and strategic goals for the San Antonio-Based publisher.

According to the announcement, Wilson brings more than two decades of experience in the K-12 sector including an active career writing about educational publishing and education best practices, among other things. Wilson is a former member of the Education Division Board for the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) and currently serves on the Board of The Association of Educational Publishers.

"Lee Wilson has extensive experience in the K-12 publishing sector," said Janie Haugen-McLane, PCI co-founder. "Lee has the right mix of skills and industry knowledge to lead PCI's sales, marketing, and product development to ensure the company's continued success. His belief that all educational products should be a blend of print and technology makes Lee the perfect fit for our future growth."

Prior to his appointment at PCI, Wilson ran Austin-based Headway Strategies, a management consulting firm focused on the education industry. Wilson has also served in a range of executive roles for companies including Harcourt Achieve, Pearson Learning Group, Chancery Software, and Apple.
