Citrix Enhances CSA Program, Increases Revenue Opportunity for Partners

3/10/2009

Citrix has enhanced its Citrix Solution Advisor (CSA) program with the launch of CSA Authorized. The new component is aimed at decreasing partners' time to profitability by minimizing the upfront investment in training and certification.

Through the new program, partners can earn full margins on Citrix virtualization and application delivery products prior to achieving certification from the company. This is expected to benefit the channel by allowing partners to begin selling products as soon as they're released.

"By allowing Citrix Solution Advisors to sell immediately upon enrolling in our program, we are eliminating barriers and enabling them to more easily deliver virtualization from the desktop to the datacenter," said Al Monserrat, senior vice president, sales and services, for Citrix, in a prepared statement. "Giving partners the opportunity to architect complete Citrix Delivery Center solutions, grow their business, and reduce the required upfront investment is a winning combination for Citrix and our partner ecosystem."

According to Citrix, partners that achieve full certification become eligible for an additional 15 percent margin on qualified sales, as well as access to additional tools and resources. The new CSA Authorized program is slated for rollout this month.
