Datatel Honored as 2008 SAP BusinessObjects OEM Partner of the Year

SAP has recently named Datatel as 2008 SAP BusinessObjects OEM Partner of the Year for North America. The award recognizes the company as the partner delivering the "most compelling application" built to leverage the BusinessObjects platform.

Datatel received the award for its InfoOrchestrator, a Web-based ad hoc query and reporting system currently used by higher education institutions around the country. The platform is aimed at streamlining access to mission-critical information and offers drag and drop query building, a variety of canned reports, Microsoft Office integration, and a range of data security options, among other things.

"Datatel is honored to receive this prestigious award," said Thomas A. Reynolds, Datatel's chief technology officer, in a prepared statement. "Our two organizations have had a strong working relationship for more than five years, and this collaboration has allowed Datatel to provide higher education institutions with the business intelligence tools they need to support success and sustainability. All of us at Datatel appreciate SAP's acknowledgment of our efforts and results."

According to the announcement, SAP chose winners in a range of categories form its broad base of North American channel and BusinessObjects partners.
