StorMagic Upgrades Channel Partner Program, Targets VMware Community

iSCSI SAN management software developer StorMagic has recently revealed details of its enhanced channel partner program aimed at resellers and system integrators in the VMware space.

According to the announcement, StorMagic channel partners will be able to share a unique promo key with their customers, allowing them to download a free copy of the StorMagic SvSAN virtual storage appliance. The free version has no expiration date and will allow users to manage up to 2 TB of data. The application works with VMware's vCenter Server and can scale for unlimited storage capacity.

"This program provides our channel partners with disruptive technology solutions coupled with an attractive offer that immediately gives them 'hot' customers leads that they can follow on," said Mike Stolz, vice president of marketing at StorMagic, in a prepared statement. "Once the customer downloads the free, full-feature base software, the reseller knows that there is a need for this software and a strong possibility for an upgrade path to additional features and services."

Additional benefits of the StorMagic channel partner program include multiple membership levels with associated discounts, qualified sales leads, joint marketing opportunities, deal registration, and ongoing training opportunities, among others.
