Grace Global Uses Cloud To Help Schools Backup Important Data

4/20/2009

Grace Global--a Spearstone channel partner--has announced plans to provide its branded G-Track data protection solution to 4,000 United States schools. The deal was awarded by the Pennsylvania Education Purchasing Program for Microcomputers (PEPPM) and includes 15 states along the East Coast and California.

According to the announcement, the G-Track solution aggregates all backups to a network axis point and then replicates those backups to the cloud. The company has made G-Track a part of their baseline system and will offer the product to education and public institutions through the PEPPM contract.

"Grace's successes and leadership in the industry are the direct result of their commitment to developing and delivering the best possible customer experience and only selecting partners they can stand behind," said Hayden Hartland, Spearstone CEO, in a prepared statement. "We consider Grace to be a valued partner and are honored they are providing first class data protection products to their customers."

Both Spearstone and Grace Globa are headquartered in Salt Lake City, UT.
