AppSense To Double U.S. Sales Team, Adds Executive Leadership

AppSense has recently announced plans to expand its United States operations in an effort to seize on growing demand for the company's user environment management solutions.

As a part of their overall strategy, AppSense has appointed Richard Morrison as President and COO, and has added Harry Ruda to its Executive Advisory Board. The company has also announced plans to double its U.S. sales team in the coming year.

"Rich Morrison's extensive operations and sales leadership experience, and his proven track record in building successful software companies will help maximize our opportunities in the U.S. In addition, Harry Ruda's insights from his groundbreaking work at Softricity and Desktone will be invaluable in shaping our strategic plans in the desktop virtualization market."

Morrison will bring over 25 years experience to the appointment, including leadership positions with CDC Software, AIT, Homeportfolio.com and IMA. Ruda is co-founder and former CEO of virtualization company, Softricity. He currently serves as CEO for Desktone.
