The sluggish global economy has migrated to the IT industry, according to a survey released recently by Forrester Research. Reliance Communications has contracted with the Mobile County Public School System to implement a district-wide parent notification system that will help reach the families of more than 63,000 students at 98 schools throughout the county. The new school district, with five schools and 4,150 students, created a state-of-the art, technology-focused curriculum that uses blogs, podcasts, and other Web 2.0 approaches as part of the learning process.
